Exciting to get back to environmentally-friendly design work again. Here’s a colorful perennial border design with many native and nativar plants for a healthier community as well as for the sharply-drained, full-sun circumstances.
It’s little trippy to explain that the computer program I use shows all of the plants in bloom at once, obviously not possible, but fun to look at. A project plant spreadsheet can provide important supporting information such as mature plant width and height, when each plant actually blooms in relationship to each other (bloom sequencing), bloom colors and ecological values information. Different views with labels and quantities creates separate, phased projects to step toward a whole planting over time. Fun, satisfying and exciting to have a wonderful, pollinator-positive project to work on over time.
